DOCUMENT SUMMARY:
This release includes enhancements to NextGen® Office EHR. For signed encounters, the patient's primary insurance does not change from what it was on the date of service if it is updated after the encounter has been signed. Users with the prescribing on behalf of and admin clerk pharmacy roles can once again retrieve a patient's medication history. We now have a bi-directional interface for the Texas Immunization Registry (ImmTrac).
EHR Enhancements
Primary Insurance in Clinical Summary PDFs
We fixed an issue where when a user updated the patient's primary insurance after the encounter was signed, the primary insurance in the clinical summary PDF changed to the updated insurance. The primary insurance now does not change from what it was on the date of service.
Medication History Enhancements
The following pharmacy roles (set up in Administration: User Maintenance) can once again retrieve a patient's medication history:
Prescribing on Behalf of
Admin Clerk
The Rx History button is now enabled for these users. Associated providers must have an NPI and be registered with Surescripts for electronic prescribing.
New Connection to Texas Immunization Registry (ImmTrac)
NextGen Office now has a bi-directional interface for the Texas Immunization Registry (ImmTrac).
